• Gate A: Travelers with boarding passes for an “A Gate” will need to board the Train to the Gates from Jeppesen Terminal. Concourse A, which has gates A26 through A87, is readily accessible by this train. How Many Security Checkpoints Does DEN Have? 

DEN has two security checkpoints, South and West security.

• South

TSA PreCheck lanes are accessible from 4:00 a.m. to 8:45 p.m. at the checkpoint’s backside, adjacent to baggage claim 7. 

After these hours, PreCheck travelers can use the regular lanes for quicker screening. For routine screening, there is a CLEAR lane; however, CLEAR customers who have TSA PreCheck are required to use the CLEAR lane at the checkpoint West Security 3. 

For travelers with Premium/Premier Access, people with functional and accessibility Needs, military personnel, and badged employees, there is also a Restricted Access lane.

• West

Standard and PreCheck screening are available at the Level 6 West Security checkpoint from 4:00 am to 7:30 pm. 

Passengers traveling normally should head to West Security 1, which is located behind the United check-in desk. Access for DEN Reserve, Premium/Premier Access, Accessibility and Functional Needs, Military personnel, and badged staff is available at West Security 2, which is situated to the north side of the United ticket booths. 

Go to West Security 3, which is located north of the United ticket booths, to undergo TSA PreCheck. Notably, the South Security checkpoint is required for CLEAR customers who do not have TSA PreCheck.

• If you spot any suspicious items or activities, report them to airport personnel immediately. 
• Additionally, TSA prohibits dangerous items such as explosives, flammable materials, and hazardous substances from being placed in checked baggage.
